I had heard of Alex before we ever met. His Qlik dashboard won a UI/UX award in 2013 which made some waves in the community, so I already knew he was a star. By the time I met him in 2015, he was an industry veteran and an expert at the usual BI consultant responsibilities (reqs gathering, design, development, architecture, etc) with dozens of happy clients and successful projects under his belt.
